Introduction

Daynotes is a simple note taker with calendaring, searching, sorting and other supporting functionality. It was developed to help CCNX users who want to move their existing note data to a 64-bit application.

Features Overview

  • Create text notes based on a mouse click on a calendar date
  • Calendar shows presence/absence of notes, current date and time and sunrise/sunset time shows if location services are turned on.
  • List View provides searching, sorting and add/change/delete of notes
  • Weekly view shows notes by the week
  • Monthly view shows notes by the month.
  • Important Dates stores meaningful dates such as birthdays or other events.
  • Preference to start calendar display on Monday or Sunday
  • Imports CCNX notes and events for those transitioning from this 32-bit application.

The Window's four tabs do the following:

  • Shows a week's notes based on the mini-calendar's current month.
  • Notes can be viewed/copied. See tab one for adding/changing/deleting

Monthly( Tab Three )

  • Shows the month's notes based on the mini-calendar's current month.
  • Notes can be viewed/copied. See tab one for adding/changing/deleting

File Menu

Register..  Initiates the registration/activation process ( for shareware users only )

Help Menu

Daynotes Help: Shows Daynotes' documentation( i.e. what you're reading now ) in the default web browser

Show Data Files in Finder: Opens a Finder window showing where Daynotes stores its data files. Helpful for backups.
