Reporting

Allows the user to generate PDF reports from the data. The PDF reports can be printed on paper or viewed on the Mac. Several report formats are available and generated PDF reports are saved within the BrilorSoftware folder.

Selecting Reports:

Use the popups to choose an owner, vehicle and task( also known as service task ) and date range
Press the "Generate PDF Reports" button and the report is shown in a print preview. Besides viewing the report on the Mac screen, there is a Print button on the window to allow output to a printer.
Note: the last four reports ( owner, vehicle, provider and task lists ) do not require popup or date selections.

The Reports:

Vehicle report: data is sorted as follows:

Owner: alphabetically ascending

Vehicle: alphabetically ascending

Service task : alphabetically ascending within vehicle

Service date: from new to old within service task

Service date report: data is sorted as follows:

Service date: from new to old

Vehicle : alphabetically ascending within service date

Service task: alphabetically ascending within vehicle

Provider report: data is sorted as follows:

Provider: alphabetically ascending

Vehicle : alphabetically within provider

Service date: from new to old

Overdue Maintenance report: data is sorted by owner and then by vehicle

These four reports can be selected without popup or date selections:
Owner List report: lists all the owners

Vehicle List report: lists all the vehicles

Provider List report: lists all the providers

Task List report: lists all the tasks
